Compensation: $22.50 - $28.15 per hour (based on years of experience)
Summary:
The QualityImprovement Data Analyst assists in obtaining accurate data collection, dataentry and data reporting functions for the Corvallis Clinic quality managementand improvement programs.
Responsibilities:
1. Will participate and maintain a culturewithin The Corvallis Clinic consistent with the content outlined in the Serviceand Behavioral Standards Caregiver document. To this end, employee will beexpected to read, have familiarity, and embrace the principles containedwithin. 2. Partners with quality team members inthe maintenance of an organizational performance measurement system. 3. Supports the day-to-day operations fordata collection, analysis and submission required for clinical qualityimprovement monitoring and reporting. 4. Maintains accurate documentation for qualityanalytics and reporting. 5. Monitors, tracks, and measures datasets regarding patient safety, quality measures, re-admissions, and otherperformance improvement initiatives and actively cross-collaborates withstakeholders regarding this data. 6. Monitors and pulls reports for patientexperience data submission and results. 7. Assists in the compilation andmaintenance of reports and dashboards using statistical tools and techniques. 8. Prepares and reviews data as requiredfor reporting to Quality Director, Program Coordinator, TCC stakeholders andexternal quality program requirements. 9. Works closely with Quality Improvement Directorand Program Coordinator to facilitate accountability and ongoing improvement ofquality metrics. 10. Contributes to quality improvement documentsand reports, including but not limited to: QI project documents, qualityreports, clinic dashboards, metrics, and meeting minutes. 11. Maintainsorganized records for all projects.
Education, Licensure,and Experience:
1. Associate degree in a Computer Science,Healthcare Research, Healthcare or related field required; equivalent educationand training may substitute. Bachelor’s degree preferred. 2. Experience and/or training inkeyboarding, word processing, database management and the use of all Microsoft Windowsprograms required. 3. Experience with retrieving and displaying data in usableformats that are actionable from a customer’s perspective preferred. 4. Medical terminology knowledgepreferred. 5. Allied Health Worker preferred. 6. Awareness of the principles of CMS, HEDIS,NCQA, SDoH and HIPAA.
Knowledgeand skills:
1. Ability to work compatibly withphysicians, patients, and other staff.
2. Effective written and oralcommunication skills to explain complex issues.
3. Ability to perform group presentationsand listen to and understand complex information and ideas.
4. Knowledge of medical practice, qualitymanagement techniques, methodology, data collection techniques and systems.
5. Skilled in data collection, analysis,and reporting of applicable data.
6. Excellent computer skills.
7. Time management skills.
Work Environment: The work environment characteristicsdescribed here are representative of those an employee encounters whileperforming the essential functions of this job. Thenoise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet.
